    APTI Central zone (Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh) in association with APTI women forum is going to organize Seminar on the theme. “Treat to target approaches for dermal disorders: Newer perspectives and challenges’ at University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

    The organizing committee has planned for an exciting and informative program, where students, researchers and leaders in pharmacy will meet and share their experience.This seminar alms to provide the academician, researchers and industry representatives a forum to share and exchange their research and practical experiences and challenges in development and technological advances in pharmaceutical research with special emphasis on novel approaches towards bio active for dermal delivery. It is Intended to provide proper direction and vision to future research for the benefit of mankind. We are confident that this seminar will provide a unique opportunity for pharmacy professionals and academic researchers to analyze their research work in Innovative form and will also help them in generating advance ideas and thoughts and areas of research related to the theme of the seminar. Hence, the scientific committee has prodigious pleasure in inviting you for this great event with the purpose to provide a forum to share and circulate information and facilitate the exchange of practical experiences among the members of pharmacy profession. This will be attained through a rich and varied program, including thought provoking keynote and plenary sessions.
    ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL TEACHERS OF INDIA – an association found by the pioneers of Pharmacy education in India in 1966 by leading personalities like Prof. M. L. Schroff, Prof. G. P Srivastava and others, has come a long way in creating better intercommunication and promotion of excellence in pharmacy education. Through its tailor-made mission and objectives. the association has provided a single platform in bringing together teachers of pharmacy education from all over the country. This has helped in the achievement of excellent standards and to develop new technological methods in pharmacy education through the exchange of views amongst the teaching members. The emergent world today with unbelievable sophistication under its belt demands for technically sound and highly knowledgeable pharmacists. The contribution of a teacher is thereby quite demanding. A Teacher apart from being an educator also contributes to science as a researcher, helps in business development as a consultant to pharmaceutical industry and also creates social awareness as a community pharmacist.

    APTI central zone comprises of state branches of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. APTI central zone shares common vision of pharmacy profession development and awareness in these states. State branches have been organizing several conferences and pharmacy awareness programs in collaboration with private institutions of the state as well as the FDA. But this is the first time when all three central states have come up under the banner of APTI central zone to commonly work for the betterment and upgradation of pharmacy profession. Since last 2 years APTI central zone is encouraging pharmacists for participation in APTICON and other training programs especially for teachers. It has also conducted several interaction programs for filling the gap between practicing pharmacist and budding pharmacist.

    APTI Women Forum Women forum is committed to provide gender equality at workplace so that women leadership and involvement will lead to further landmarks in pharmacy. More than 20000 teachers are contributing to develop competent pharmacists and 60 – 70 % teachers are women taking responsibilities of quality education at Institute level and even family responsibilities for a healthy and happy life. This forum and its activities will bring all women pharmacy teachers together to discuss various issues related to professional responsibilities and many leaders will emerge out to strengthen pharmacy

    About The University

    The Pt, Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) is one of the oldest and the largest Universities of Chhattisgarh accredited with A grade from NAAC. It was established in 1964. It is named after Pt. Ravishankar Shukla (1877 – 1956), the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. It caters to the needs of the youths of Chhattisgarh and adjoining States, namely Madhya Pradesh. Maharashtra. Orissa, Jharkhand. Andhra Pradesh, as well as from West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Island in the realm of higher education and research. Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, being the oldest university, is leaving no stone unturned to cater to the needs of the society. The university has grown enormously over the last 51 years in terms of number of students (approx. 0.2 million) and disciplines in 27 Schools of Studies (SoS).
