Delhi’s BLK Super Specialty Hospital has been awarded the CNBC-TV18 Healthcare and Wellness Award 2017 under the ‘Best Multi Specialty Hospital-Metro’ category.
The award was presented on basis of a survey conducted by IMRB, a leading market research agency. IMRB carried out extensive field work as per scientific methodology, capturing consumer and doctors’ ratings that helped to shortlist the top names for the Jury Panel.
Dr Mradul Kaushik, Director-Operations and Planning, BLK Super Specialty Hospital, said that the award testifies to BLK Super Specialty Hospital’s constant endeavor to provide world-class patient care and maintain highest standards in healthcare delivery systems across India.

The hospital was recently granted Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for its high level of quality, care and safety. The JCI evaluated the hospital’s standard of access to care, assessment of patients, infection control, patient and family rights and education.
The award, now in its eighth year, saw more than 3,000 hospitals sending in their nomination this year. The awards were presented by Daniel Kraft, MD, Faculty Chair for Medicine & Neuroscience, Singularity University & Founder and Chair Exponential Medicine, San Francisco, USA.
The award recognized the Hospital’s excellent contribution to the field of tertiary care. The Hospital has been offering the highest quality services at its Centers of Excellence such as BMT, Oncology, Cardiac sciences, Neurosciences and Orthopedics, among others.
