CSIR NEIST announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Diploma, B.Sc, B.Pharma, B.Lib for the position of Technical Assistant.
Technical Assistant

Educational Qualification Details: 1st class B.Pharm. with pharmaceutical analysis and pharmaceutical chemistry with 1 year full time professional qualification or 1 year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute/organization.
Desirable Qualification/Experience: Minimum 2 years experience of working from a recognized institute/ organization in operation and maintenance of HPLC, UPLC, Ion chromatography, etc.
Job requirements/ Nature of Job: Operation/maintenance/ interpretation of results of HPLC, UPLC, Ion chromatography, GC-MS, LC-MS etc. The incumbent will be required to handle natural Products analysis of plant samples from scientists of NEIST and local farmers/entrepreneur, etc. for ongoing day to day R&D activities.
Age: 28 years

General information and conditions:
a. These posts carry usual allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the central government employees and as made applicable to CSIR. Council employees are also eligible for accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR Residence allotment rules depending on availability in which case HRA will not be admissible.
b. In addition to the emoluments indicated against each category of posts, benefits such as applicability of New Pension Scheme 2004, reimbursements of Medical Expenses, Leave Travel Concession, Conveyance advance and House Building Advance are available as per 7 th CPC & CSIR rules.
c. The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Laboratories/ Institutes of CSIR situated in other parts of India as and when need arises.

Selection Procedure
A. Trade Test: Diploma/Graduation Level based on the advertised qualification of the post.
B. Competitive Written Examination: Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination, Total Questions – 200, Total Time allotted – 3 Hours.
How to Apply
a. Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE through our website www.neist.res.in. No other mode of application will be considered.
b. If the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/she should create a new valid email id before applying online.
c. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions for Online Application carefully before applying.
d. Online application will be available in the CSIR-NEIST website from 14.09.2019 and the closing date of online application will be 14.10.2019. The applicant has to take the print out of the successfully submitted online application and should send the same alongwith all the required documents/testimonials (as at Clause 5 below) by post so as to reach on or before 5 PM of 29.10.2019. The applicant has to upload his/her recent passport size photo while filling up the online application.
e. Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The last date for submitting online application and making of Demand Draft is 14.10.2019. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate‟s Name, (ii) Candidate‟s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad category are exempted from payment of application fee.
f. This duly signed computer generated application (print-out) accompanied by self – attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size (self-signed photograph) affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________(Post Code _________)”by post to the address: The Administrative Officer, CSIR- North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), Jorhat-785006, Assam.
Dates: 1. Pay is at minimum level of scale excluding admissible allowances.
