All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna (AIIMS Patna) (officially Jayaprakash Narayan All India Institute of Medical Sciences is a medical college and medical research public university based in Patna, Bihar, India. The Institute will operate autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (India).Though the foundation stone for the Rs 350-crore project (2004 estimate) was laid in 2004 during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure, the project was delayed owing to the power shift at the Centre and its cost has escalated from Rs 3.35 billion (US$51 million) to Rs 8.5 billion (US$130 million).The AIIMS, Patna, is under construction for over eight years.Its foundation was laid by the then vice-president, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, on 3 January 2004.

Educational Qualifications/Experience:
- Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/Universities/Statutory Bodies or Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations (i) holding analogous post on regular basis OR (ii) with 5 years regular service in the grade of Pharmacist Grade II in the Grade Pay of Rs 4200
Pay Scale (Salary): PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800) with GP of Rs 4600 (Pre-revised) corresponding to Level-7 ( Rs 44900- 142400) of 7th CPC
Age Limit: Maximum age limit not exceeding 56 Years as on the closing date of receipt of application
