Research Associate – I/ JRF/ Technical Assistant job recruitment in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education And Research (NIPER) Guwahati on contract basis
Project Title :
1. Systematic and scientific investigation of selected medicinal plants from north eastern part of India for rheumatoid arthritis and derivation of mechanism of action using bioguided fractionation methods besides identification and characterization of lead molecules using liquid-liquid separation technique
2. Hit to lead optimization of Novel Triazine analogues as potential Autophagy modulators for the prevention of Cancer
3. Development of novel liquid-retentive and reconstitutable solid-dry powder topical formulations containing oil-in-water nanosized cationic emulsions loaded with or without cyclosporine A to manage the moderate to severe dry eye syndrome
Research Associate – I

Qualification : Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences or in Biological Sciences with First class in any of the masters degree in MS/M.Pharm Pharmacology & Toxicology or Regulatory Toxicology or MVSc or MSc in Zoology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
Desirable : Should have experience in cell culture experiments and animal experiments. Preference will be given to the candidates having publications in SCI indexed journals.
Age Limit : 35 Yrs
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of Posts : 03
Qualification : First class in Masters Degree in M.S/M.Pharm(Pharmacology & Toxicology or Regulatory Toxicology) or M.VSc or BVSc/MSc in Zoology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry with 2 years experience. First class in Master Degree in M.S/M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) or MBBS with DNB
Desirable : Should have experience in natural product research, animal experiments, basic techniques like flow cytometer, confocal microscope etc.,. Preference will be given to the candidates having publications in SCI indexed journals. Experience in ocular nanoformulation development, characterization and experiment using rabbit eyes. Preference will be given to the candidates having publications in SCI indexed journals

Technical Assistant

Qualification : First class in Masters Degree in MS/M.Pharm Pharmacology & Toxicology or Regulatory Toxicology or MVSc or MSc in zoology, biotechnology or biochemistry with 2 years experience. First class in Masters Degree in MS/M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis/Quality Assurance/ Pharmaceutics)/M.Tech (Pharmaceutical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering).
Desirable : Should have experience in animal experiments, basic techniques like flow cytometer etc.,. Preference will be given to the candidates having publications in SCI indexed journals. Working experience in the area of 3D Printing, quality control, quality assurance and formulation development. Preference will be given to the candidates having publications in SCI indexed journals.
