Tezpur University announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Any Post Graduate, MS/MD, M.Pharma for the position of Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate.

Essential Qualification Details:
1. Qualification: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation lndexed (SCl) journal.
2. Desirable: Experience in Clinical Research/Pharmaceutical Research/Human diseases (Molecular Biology /Genetics/Immunology/ Microbiology of Human Diseases)
3. Fellowship: Rs. 36,000/ (Rupees Thirty six thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible per month as per DBT guidelines.
4. Duration: Initially for a period of one (01) year and extendable till completion of the project based on the performance of the candidate or until further order, whichever is earlier.
Age: Candidate shall not be more than 40 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Applications are invited for temporary position of One (01) Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one (01) Research Associate (RA) under the DBT Project entitled “Establishment of Institutional Level Biotech Hubs (IBThubs) by DBT under Special Programme for North Eastern States of India under the ‘Institutional Level Biotech Hubs (IBThubs), (Advanced Level)” under Dr. Shashi Baruah, Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University. The priority area of Biotech Hub is Disease Biology and the area of specialization is human diseases. Interested candidates may apply with self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, NET/GATE/BET or similar examination qualifications and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) within 07.01.2019.
