Name of Project: Neuroprotective and neuritogenic effects of a cell-permeable bacterial histone-mimic protein: Therapeutic implications for neurodegenerative pathologies.
Essential Qualifications:
(1) PhD at Life Sciences (rather in neuroscience discipline) or 3 years of research experience after MSc/MTech.
(2) At least two or more first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Desired Expertise:
(1) Must have demonstrated expertise in peripheral and surgical delivery of compounds to the central nervous system along with other in vivo methods in rodent models such as dissection, perfusion etc
(2). General expertise in cell culture, imaging and molecular biology methods.
Salary: Rs 36,000 + 30 percent HRA a month.
Age: Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertising
Duration of this position: Till November 15, 2021, or until the conclusion of this project (whichever is sooner ).

Appointment of this applicant is going to be governed by the terms and conditions of the financing agency especially applicable to the said project. The prescribed educational qualifications would be the bare minimum and mere possession of the same doesn’t entitle candidates to be considered in each stage of the selection procedure. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. The selected candidate is going to need to join the obligation immediately on receipt of this offer.
