Senior Research Fellow (1 Post)

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years according to 330th October 2018

Stipend: Rs. 28,000 + 30 percent HRA.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: M.Sc. in Life Science / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry with NET qualification and two years of Research experience, preferably from a reputed Government Research Institute/University.
- Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology.
Senior Research Fellow (1 Post)

Project Title: “ Study of Clinical and genetic predictors of prognosis in Myelodysplastic Syndromes ”

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years according to 30thOctober, 2018

Stipend: Rs. 28,000 + 30 percent HRA.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: 1st class in postgraduate degree in basic Sciences (Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Microbiology)with NET qualification and two years research experience. The candidate’s expertise in Molecular Biology or Flowcytometry will be favoured.
- Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology.
How to Apply:

A Walk-In-Interview is proposed to be conducted on 19.11.2018 at 9.00 AM — 10.00 A.M. to fill the following posts on a Temporary basis under the NIIH. The verification will be just from 9.00 A.M. to 10.00 A.M. and the Interview/Examination will follow at 11.00 A.M. Candidates who fulfil the required qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-in-Interview/examination may download the format given in the site. Duly filled in application together with the excel sheet (both may be downloaded from the site ) ought to be emailed to [email protected] or before 15.11.2018. The candidate will also be needed to bring their application together with original certificates along with a copy of attested certificates on the day of interview for confirmation.

Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria are asked to fill their application form download from NIIH site http://www.niih.org.in and ICMR site http://www.icmr.nic.in. Duly filled application together with the excel sheet (both can be downloaded from the site ) ought to be emailed to [email protected] before or on 15.11.2018. The Candidates need to report to the Institute on 19.11.2018 at 9.00 am with the application form and a single set of self-attested xerox copies of certificates in support of age, qualification, expertise and category (if appropriate ) for confirmation.

Terms & Conditions:
1. The post is to be filled up only on a purely temporary basis.
2. Above said post is going to be stationed at NIIH, Parel, and Mumbai 400012.
3. Since the post are purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for Regular posts and benefits of provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. aren’t applicable under the rules.
4. Age is relaxable up to Five years for Govrnment servants Based on the Instructions issued by DOPT from time to time in this regard.
5. No.TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the nterview or joining of out and post Stationed candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay for joining an interview of the post, if provided.
6. Qualification and experience ought to be from a reputed and recognized organization.
7. The conclusion of Director is final in all aspects of recruitment.
8. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
