The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is implementing National Tobacco Control Programme throughout the country. Under the Programme, National Tobacco Testing Laboratory is being set up at Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTLJ, Guwahati. Director, Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Guwahati invites applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual post to be engaged at the National Tobacco Testing Laboratory, Guwahati within 15 (fifteen) days of the publication of this advertisement:
Name of Post: Senior Scientific Officer

Educational Qualification: M. Pharm with five years research experience/M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Sciences
Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products/synthesis/analysis of organic com pounds/bio-chemical/pharmaceutical sciences.
Job description: To work on advanced analytical equipments and protocols for tobacco products analysis.
Age: 45 Years.
